Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, the newest in a series of spacecraft designed to monitor our oceans, will be launching TOMORROW from Vandenberg Air Force Base in central California. Liftoff is targeted for 12:17:08 p.m. EST. It's mission is to collect the most accurate data yet on global sea level and how oceans are rising in response to climate change. There are a few ways to get involved. You can register for the event, which will keep you in the loop about launch schedule changes and give you access to information about launch related activities and launch resources. Plus they will send you a passport stamp, if you'd like to download and print their Virtual Launch Passport , which I think would be super fun to fill up by watching as many launches as I could. Or you can watch live on NASA's public channel or the NASA TV media channel.
